3 Tips to Guide You Through Sea–Tac

Welcome to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac). This airport may be your final stop on your journey, or you could have a greater distance to travel. Whether or not you have a layover, resting in an airport can be more accommodating than you’d expect. Discover a few tips for navigating through Sea-Tac and making the most of your time here.

Use a Map to Make Your Way Through the Airport

Traveling comes with its own set of challenges. Getting from the terminal to the parking lot doesn’t have to be one of them. Look for a map of Sea-Tac. The legend on the map provides proper color coding and using symbols. With the plan, you can find places to charge your devices, for example.
A big highlight of this airport is the ability to eat, shop, and relax in every concourse. Sea-Tac is made up of four main terminal security checkpoints. Each terminal offers dining, shopping, and other services for you and your family. The principal and central terminals are adjacent to each another and within walking distance from one another. The north and south (satellite terminals) are only short miles away from one another.

Select Places to Eat

Seattle is home to great coffee and better-smoked salmon. You can try both at one of the many dining options at Sea-Tac. Each terminal offers a variety of dining options from which to choose. Selections include cafes, bars, and restaurants.
Arriving late or staying overnight? Sea-Tac has many 24-hour food options. You can grab a coffee at Starbucks or get something to eat at the food court. Or you can try the 24-hour McDonald’s and Qdoba Mexican Grill — both available in the central terminal. New additions include Rel’Lish Burger Lounge and Poppa Woody’s

Rest at One of the Lounges

We all know how exhausting flying gets.  A significant inconvenience is not having a place to rest your feet or head after a flight. You’ll find conveniently located InterContinental Hotels Group accommodations in Seattle minutes away from the airport. Also, you’ll discover comfortable lounges that you can pay for at the door or buy passes to access. Most also offer memberships so that you can plan. Some provide access to their lounges with your economy class ticket. Many include showers, long cozy benches to rest, and video games to play. Below are two you can find:
The Club at SEA – Location: Central Terminal, Airside, Concourse A, across from Gate A11 and South Satellite, Airside, next to Gate S9
Alaska Lounge – Location: Central Terminal, Airside, Concourse C, Mezzanine Level, across from Gate C16, Concourse D, near Gate D1 and North Satellite, Airside, between Gates N1 and N2
You won’t find a wrong way to spend your time at Sea-Tac. With 24-hour food services, free Wi-Fi, and lounges, you have plenty to look forward to during your travels through the airport. Plan your next trip to Seattle with a better peace of mind knowing you can eat, sleep, and relax at Sea-Tac.
